Ludwigsburg – As the latest addition to the circle of MHP partners, Lutz Garschke took up his new position as Partner for the VW Group Sector on March 1, 2024. In future, the industrial engineering graduate will head the Group Markets division as Partner and Member of the Board of Management together with Mirko Rajs.
After the successful start of his professional career at PwC, Lutz Garschke spent over eleven years at IBM, where he looked after international clients in the automotive sector. He later moved to T-Systems International, where he also worked globally, in particular for clients like Volkswagen.
"As an industrial engineering graduate, I consider myself to be both a business economist and an engineer in equal parts. My career so far has reflected this diversity: 50 percent consulting and 50 percent sales, so really, I’m a consultant with a salesman’s heart," says Lutz Garschke.
His expertise and his focus on the automotive industry ultimately led him to MHP: "In my view, MHP is the leading consultancy in the automotive industry. I was immediately fascinated by Strategy 2030, and I want to make my contribution and be part of it," Garschke explains.
In his new position at MHP, he plans to further expand the business with the Volkswagen Group in particular and scale it internationally. He aims to do this across the entire MHP portfolio, involving all colleagues worldwide, focussing particularly on key markets such as China, the USA, Mexico and all delivery centers, including India. And Lutz Garschke undoubtedly has the necessary "think-big" drive and team spirit to achieve this.
