Freiberg am Neckar, 06.12.2010 – From January 2011 Carsten Weber (38) will manage the newly created business area Software Products at the process and IT consultancy company Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP). The qualified business economist is responsible for the entire product life cycle of the MHP add-ons – from the idea for a new product and the business development to marketing, maintenance and support. In addition, Cartsten Weber is also responsible for IT/Innovation at the VDA-ITA.
Carsten Weber: "For years now we have been developing SAP-based add-ons. Here we use our entire process know-how to extend the standard product with useful functions for our customers. To date this has happened more on a casual basis. Now we have decided to concentrate our experiences from software production for this purpose. We want to drive our growth forward and, at the same time, transfer innovations from the automotive sector to other industries. A third "pillar" has thus been created in the company in addition to consultancy - our main business - and application management."
The MHP add-ons should offer the customer significant added value at an attractive price. Product deployment is usually possible within a few days as the technology and documentation are standardised. MHP also ensures that the add-ons can go live. The company is continuously further developing its products and offers suitable application management.
