The automotive industry in Germany once again significantly increased IT investments over the last year. A survey conducted among 37 leading IT service providers in the automotive industry is the basis of the annual rankings of the Automobilwoche for the 2012 business year. The rankings show clear winners and losers as the high consolidation pressure among service providers persists.
The 37 IT service providers examined in the study increased their turnover with car manufactures and suppliers in Germany in the 2012 business year by 12.2 percent to 3.7 billion Euro. 3.6 billion Euro can be allotted to the top 25.
MHP, with a turnover increase of over 37 percent, broke the 100 million Euro barrier for the first time and achieved an excellent 7th place in the ranking, as in the previous year.
