MHP wins the SAP HANA Partner Race

Engine testing application

MHP won first place in the SAP HANA Partner Race. This was announced today (6th March 2013) by a specialist jury at CeBIT. “We are very proud of this award”, said Dr. Hagen Radowski, a partner at MHP where he is responsible for SAP HANA and real time processes in the automotive industry. “The first place is our confirmation that HANA focuses not only on technology, but above all on consistent process thinking.”

The prize was awarded by Jochen Wießler, partner at SAP Germany, Jürgen Renz, General Manager of Dell GmbH, as well as jury member Holger Röder, partner and the global practice lead for Strategic IT Practice at A. T. Kearney GmbH. “We congratulate the team headed by Dr. Hagen Radowski. The MHP application impressive shows the groundbreaking potentialities SAP HANA opens up to the industry”, said the Head of SAP Germany Harry Thomsen.

A total of 26 teams lined up at the competition start in September 2012. Their task was to develop an innovative HANA application including its rollout concept ready for CeBIT. MHP together with Mercedes-AMG designed and implemented a solution for engine development and testing as well as quality assurance in engine production. In real time it can read out and evaluate huge quantities of data acquired by over 200 sensors on the engine. Up to now engineers had to make do with a selection of measurement data. The MHP and Mercedes-AMG approach improves quality even further and reduces the risk from defective components to almost nothing.
