According to the current Lünendonk list "The 25 leading IT consulting and system integration companies in Germany", MHP is in 16th place based on turnover, irrespective of the sector, and climbed four places compared with the previous year.
The overall IT service industry continued its upswing in 2015. The turnover of the 95 IT service providers analyzed by Lünendonk increased by 7.5% on average in 2015. In total the companies achieved a turnover of 28.1 billion Euro in Germany, thus 1.1 billion Euro more than in 2014. The reason for this significant market growth was primarily the continuous high level of investment of customers in the modernization of their IT processes and in the development of digital innovations and business models.
"The strong growth of the IT consulting and system integration companies overall is mainly a result of the high demand from customers for external support with digital transformation projects. This is also related to an enormously high demand from customers for external IT consultants, in particular on specialist topics such as Cloud, End-to-End Integration, Mobile, Security or Big Data Analytics", is how Mario Zillmann, partner at Lünendonk, explains the high growth rates.
"Furthermore, at the moment almost all big customers are realigning their corporate strategies and adapting their business models and processes to the digital transformation." The IT consulting and system integration companies, who focus on project business, benefit in particular from this development. "Services such as IT strategy consulting, application development, and testing are currently in great demand by the customers for the implementation of digitalization strategies."
In the current Lünendonk® list of the Top 25 IT consulting and system integration companies, a total of 18 IT consulting and system integration companies were able to increase their turnover, eight of whom grew by more than 10 percent. Six of the consulting providers experienced a drop in turnover.
MHP was able to increase turnover in Germany by 25 percent and thus become the second strongest company among the Top 25 companies. In 2015, MHP registered an increase in global sales of 25 percent overall.
