Ludwigsburg, Germany – On May 2, 2016, MHP will celebrate its 20th anniversary and looks back on a rapid growth. In 1996, the company was founded by Dr. Ralf Hofmann and Dr. Lutz Mieschke in Karlsruhe-Ettlingen as a management and IT consulting firm specializing in SAP. MHP expanded its portfolio soon after and supported its customers in the design of their business processes. At the same time, the automotive industry became a clear focus of MHP's business operations.
1999 was a vital year to MHP: Porsche acquired shares in the consulting firm, while MHP moved its headquarters to Freiberg am Neckar. In the following years, Porsche gradually increased its shareholding – presently, the automotive manufacturer holds 81.8 per cent of the company shares. Since 2011, the MHP headquarters have been located in Ludwigsburg and MHP now has a total of 13 locations in Germany, Switzerland, the UK, US, China and Romania. More than 1,500 consultants offer end-to-end services to over 250 customers: from the development of strategies at management level to the optimum design of processes and IT implementation and operation. Thus, assisting companies on their way to digitization is part of MHP's core business. Thanks to its integrated consulting procedure, a symbiosis of management and IT consulting, MHP generated a turnover of EUR 235 m in 2015.

The MHP success story will continue in the years to come and the digitization of business operations will be an important topic. Since the ideas for shaping reality by way of technologies are firmly embedded in the DNA of MHP.
