Ludwigsburg – MHP, the management and IT consulting company, celebrated its Silver Jubilee on May 2, 2021 after enjoying 25 years of dynamic growth. The company was founded by Dr. Ralf Hofmann and Dr. Lutz Mieschke in Karlsruhe in 1996 in order to realize implementation projects in the SAP environment. MHP quickly expanded its portfolio and helped clients not only to introduce IT, but also design their business processes. A clear focus on the automotive segment also evolved. MHP is now shaping the digital future together with international groups, medium-sized enterprises and innovative start-ups from the mobility and manufacturing industries. The focal point here is always the purpose of the company's own action in order to make the future world even more attractive. True to the purpose of MHP: "Enabling You to Shape A Better Tomorrow".
The success story of MHP can also be expressed in figures: in 1996 the company had five employees, 15 years later the corresponding number was around 700, and now there are approximately 3,000. The first office in Karlsruhe has now been supplemented by 20 locations in Germany, the United Kingdom, the USA, China, Romania, the Czech Republic, Austria, Israel and Hungary. In the 2020 fiscal year the company recorded consolidated sales of €502 million (IFRS).
Excellence as a philosophy, eight values as a guideline
One important factor in ensuring permanent success is the philosophy of excellence: ever since it was founded, MHP has primarily been striving for excellence – from start to finish in every project at every client, during the implementation of its own processes, and when putting its own strategy into practice. The close connections with Porsche helped MHP to grow in the past and still do so today. The sports car manufacturer took a stake in MHP for the first time in 1998 and has gradually extended its holding since then. Porsche has held 81.8% of MHP's shares since 2011.
