  • Close to 13 universities and an excellent research landscape

Ludwigsburg – On June 3, 2024, MHP management and IT consultancy, headquartered in Ludwigsburg near Stuttgart, opened another office in Dresden, the capital of Saxony. The new office is located in the heart of Dresden’s old town in the Annenhöfe, a state-of-the-art office complex. Here, employees will have access to an office with around 1,000 square meters of space and seven meeting rooms of different sizes. Overall, the facilities will provide space for up to 60 employees in the future.

The office is impressively located in a prominent position close to Dresden’s famous Baroque quarter which contains the Zwinger Palace, Semperoper, and Frauenkirche, as well as numerous restaurants, other cultural attractions, and shops. It offers an attractive modern working environment and various quieter areas for employees. The new office also has excellent public transport links and an underground car park is provided for staff.

Dresden benefits from high customer density and an outstanding university landscape

With the expansion to Dresden, MHP is primarily responding to the high customer density in the local area. Through its stronger presence in the center of “Silicon Saxony”, the management and IT consultancy aims to boost local and regional customer contact for faster and more effective working. The Dresden office will focus on digitalization, software development, operations, and IT security.

Dresden is also home to an impressive number of higher education institutions. There are currently 13 universities in the area, some of which specialize in scientific and technical subjects. This opens up new opportunities for joint research and development projects, for technology and knowledge sharing, and for staff recruitment.

Michael Baling, Associated Partner Industry Solutions at MHP and head of the Dresden office, is clearly satisfied: “As well as the proximity to our regular customers in the automotive field, we see huge growth potential in the Saxony region – especially in future-oriented technologies such as electromobility and battery technology, semiconductors and microelectronics, AI, biotechnology, and environmental technologies. Dresden is also an excellent location for us due to its economic capacity and outstanding higher education and research landscape around TUD Dresden University of Technology, as well as the proximity to various technology partners. We are therefore extremely pleased that we will be able to get even more actively involved here in the future.”
