White Paper "Next Level: Intelligent Enterprise – with SAP"

SAP as the foundation for future success

SAP has recently made the idea of the intelligent enterprise popular. In fact, the term has been around for almost three decades. In 1992, the American scientist and author James Brian Quinn published his book "Intelligent Enterprise: A Knowledge and Service Based Paradigm for Industry". In this book, he described the extent to which the success of a company depends on applying knowledge and using services to captivate – all with the help of technology. This is more relevant today than ever before. In this context, SAP considers a company to be intelligent if it systematically uses innovative technology and focuses on the processes.

The white paper "Next Level: Intelligent Enterprise – with SAP" from MHP illustrates which prerequisites companies must fulfill if they want to act intelligently. To do this, the authors first outline and reflect on SAP's range of products and debate the advantages of standardization – which is required in the context of the cloud. They then describe which processes contribute to differentiation and which do not. To conclude, they provide a brief guide to the transformation process.

The white paper can be downloaded free-of-charge from MHP's website.
