What is it about and what’s the challenge?
Non-standardized data sources in an otherwise fully digital manufacturing environment mean that this data cannot be interpreted correctly. To provide the scalability needed, MHP has worked with Siemens to define a standardized digital twin for manufacturing that allows decoupling from the specifics of the individual data source in favor of a generalized semantic model of, for example, a machine.
This digital twin is being made available for the first time for the MHP Future Factory Hack and is based on real-time manufacturing data from sensors, robots, and other devices. Currently, quite complicated use cases can now be easily simulated and scaled. That's where you come in: Develop an IIoT-App in MindSphere and create the first use case of the digital twin for production!
Whom do we need at the Future Factory Hack in Dubai?
If you are an innovative start-up or a company that wants to develop new products and redesign existing solutions, our hackathon is exactly what you need. As a partner of Siemens, MHP is helping to shape the Future Factory Hack - starting with an online boot camp from January 3-7, 2022, where you will learn more about MindSphere, Siemens’ IIoT as a service solution and the digital twin. You'll also have the chance to refine your solution in collaboration with the IIot experts of Siemens and MHP. From February 6-10, 2022, the hackathon will take place in Dubai. At Expo 2020, you finalize your IIoT app in MindSphere and pitch the prototype to a jury of Siemens and MHP representatives.
