Under the motto "Bruises for social purposes" a charity boxing match will take place on Saturday, 16 November 2013, in the MHPArena between Uwe Hück and Luan Krasniqi.
The Chairman of the Works Council of Porsche AG and two-time European champion in Thai boxing, Uwe Hück, and the former heavyweight professional boxer and bronze medallist at the Olympic Games, Luan Krasniqi, will compete against each other for the social need. Income from the boxing match will be split 50-50 between the Hück Learning Foundation in Pforzheim and the global organisation of SOS Children's Villages.
At the press conference in Monrepos Palace in Ludwigsburg the two opponents explained the reasosn behind the boxing match and their social commitment.
"One can learn a great deal from combat sport", highlights Chairman of the Works Council of the PAG Group Hück, because here you need to be disciplined, fit, and active, and prepared to suffer setbacks. And this is how the idea of the charity boxing evening came about. With Luan Krasniqi, who was impressed with the idea from the outset, a famous opponent was quickly found.
In addition to a first-class fight, spectators can also expect artists, actors, as well as VIPs from show business, in the MHPArena.
