Seamless SCADA Integration – Powering Volkswagen’s Digital Production Platform (DPP) with AWS
Shopfloor systems for production visualization are well-known and widely used in various areas. We aim to demonstrate the path to complete integration into the Digital Production Platform (DPP) and how building it once as a cloud-based installation can significantly enhance effectiveness.
Asset Administration Shell at VW Sachsen: How Legacy AGVs in Intralogistics Gained Smart Charging Management
The Zero Impact Factory aims for climate- and resource-friendly production with minimal environmental impact. Achieving this requires a systematic, method-driven approach to ensure both ecological and economic sustainability. This keynote explores how a fleet of AGVs supports shop floor logistics and manufacturing, with key KPIs—battery life, charging cycles, and energy demand—monitored and optimized in real-time via digital twins for maximum efficiency and adaptability.
Showcasing Excellent Processes with SAP Signavio at BAUER AG
BAUER AG is revolutionizing its business processes with Signavio. Process Insights identifies hidden potentials and bottlenecks at BAUER AG. Process Manager designs processes efficiently and optimized. Analysis with Process Intelligence guarantees sustainable improvement. BAUER AG is supported in this by the MHP POLARIS method.
Dark Warehouse in SMEs – How Medium-Sized Companies Are Revolutionizing Intralogistics
The presentation will demonstrate how Wildeboer, a medium-sized company, transformed its production logistics into a highly automated material supply system, including the automated transport of intermediate products. Both pallets and small load carriers (KLT) are efficiently moved through production using forklift AGVs (Jungheinrich) and small load carrier AMRs (Magazino SOTO). This transformation was achieved through an MQTT-based peripheral connection and optimized route planning, creating a future-proof shopfloor environment.
Circular Economy – An Opportunity for Industry
The circular economy is becoming increasingly important in the industrial sector. It focuses on using resources more efficiently, minimizing waste, and reducing the ecological footprint. From an economic perspective, it also offers significant potential. Companies that view waste streams as a resource can reduce costs and develop new business models. The circular economy is not just an ecological necessity but also an opportunity for industry to ensure long-term resilience, efficiency, and innovation.
