Düsseldorf, 13.11.2012 – After winning first prize last year, MHP has this year again been awarded a Best of Consulting prize for project excellence in the category "IT management".
This is further proof of our outstanding competence and quality as a consultancy firm. MHP is again, this year, one of the best consultancy firms in Germany and will continue to work hard to maintain this high standard.
MHP won over the jury this year in the category "Information Technology" with a project at the company Wittenstein AG, which is a manufacturer of high-precision drive technologies and mechatronic systems. The hetrogeneous IT system that had developed there was to be replaced by a SAP-based and sustainable landscape. As part of the project, MHP developed a comprehensive concept for the interface and system changeover, which also included the reorientation of internal and external business processes. The aim:operating costs were to be reduced, the smooth use of the complex landscape was to be permanently ensured. Dr. Oliver Oswald, partner at MHP und responsible for the project. 2012 is the third year that the WirtschaftsWoche magazine has awarded the "Best of Consulting" prize; this year, however, according to a new procedure. An academic advisory committee and a jury evaluated the projects, which were submitted in 5 different categories – the "Best of Consulting" prize is awarded for "Competitive Strategy", "Marketing and Sales", "Supply Chain Management" and "Personnel Management" in addition to "Information Technology". These results were expanded by an appraisal of the brand strength of the consultancy firm and the increase in value, which it was able to realise for its customers.
