Ludwigsburg – Known for her experiment with a part-time three-day week (reducing the workload to 60 per cent on three days), Katharina Vollus, Associated Partner at MHP, is committed to modern styles of leadership and ways of working. As she said at the award ceremony: "I want to show that various management models can work if you have built up a self-organised team. Quality before quantity."
With her 17 years of IT sector experience, Katharina Vollus specialises in agile transformation and building resilient organisations. This is because the complexity of today's corporate world is shaped by digital and social change, the increasing use of artificial intelligence and the rapid pace at which new products are launched on the market.
The mother of one daughter is currently leader of the "Agile Transformation" portfolio at the management and IT consultancy MHP. Together with her 30-strong team, she advises clients on how to be more agile in their work and develop organisations to meet the challenges brought about by the pressure to change. The WIN award was presented on 9 November 2023 at the FIT Congress evening gala held at the Hotel Maximilians in Augsburg. Together with three other female professionals, she received her award in the "Digital Transformation" category. The aim of the initiative is to showcase role models in the industry and to inspire and promote up-and-coming female IT talent.
Vollus had previously gained recognition for her work in 2022, when her commitment in transforming the CIO division at transport company Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) into a product organisation brought her the Best of Consulting Award from the magazine “Wirtschaftswoche” in the Female Consultant category.
