Ludwigsburg – At the start of October, Dr. Thomas Thiel joined MHP. Before taking up his new position, the graduate economist was employed as Principal at Wincor Nixdorf Banking Consulting. At MHP, Dr. Thomas Thiel is responsible primarily for setting up the new Financial Services department. "Our aim is to apply MHP's special process and industrial expertise in the financial services sector," says Dr. Thomas Thiel.
For this task, the 55-year-old brings extensive experience in the financial sector: After his training in banking, Dr. Thomas Thiel studied economics, concentrating on finance, in which he completed his Ph.D. He then held various positions, including auditor and advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Director and Manager of Strategic Control at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW). For 13 years, Dr. Thomas Thiel also successfully managed his own consulting company.
Dr. Thomas Thiel: "Since 1999 I have observed with increasing respect the development of MHP. In discussions with consulting managers and by means of cooperations, I have repeatedly been able to form a picture of the professionalism of the company and its employees. Against this background, it was easy to make a decision to take on this new challenge in order to actively support the successful path of MHP."
