Ludwigsburg, 09.11.2015 – For students, MHP is in 2015 again one of the most attractive employers in the automobile industry. Last Tuesday (03.11.2015) MHP therefore received the Automotive TopCareer Award in the category of sector service providers – as it did last year. The prize has been awarded since 2014 by the Institut für Automobilwirtschaft (IFA) (German Institute for the Automobile Industry) at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Science) in the six categories of manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, captive financial service providers, non-captive financial service providers and sector service providers.
The award is based on a survey of students on technical and business courses throughout Germany focusing on the automobile sector. A total of 343 responses were evaluated. "Assuming 7,000 to 9,000 students in German universities who are focusing on a specific sector, the response rate was a respectable result," says Benedikt Maier, who was responsible as project manager for the investigation. As in the previous year, the students stated that the working atmosphere is more important than a high salary. Particular value is also attached to promotion opportunities and work-life balance.
"The new generation has extremely high expectations of an employer and attaches importance to very diverse aspects. We are therefore delighted that MHP is evidently able to impress in many areas," says Christoph Joos, partner at MHP whose responsibilities include Human Resources. "For us as a consulting company, the employees are our most valuable capital. To lead in the competition for the most talented individuals is therefore for us a guarantee for a successful future." MHP is also working on its excellent image beyond the automotive world, for example with numerous sponsoring commitments.
