The awards ceremony was held on Monday, March 31, 2014 as part of an evening gala event in Frankfurt am Main. The is the 4th time that a media jury has recognized the work of business service companies and people with the Lünendonk B2B Service Awards; the awards are divided into the categories "Lifetime Achievement", "Performance" and "Innovation".
MHP was the clear winner in the "Performance" category. Its rapid growth and success - both in the automotive sector and in other sectors - was, in particular, highlighted here.
The market research company Lünendonk plays a part in the nominations for the B2B Service Awards but it is not, however, involved in the actual selection process. A media jury made up of the who-is-who from the German media industry was responsible for selecting the award winners; a lawyer acts as a trustee, in this connection, as part of the secret and independent selection process from the list of nominees.
The 3 winners of the B2B Service Awards 2014 were chosen by 14 editors-in-chief and business editors from the following German media outlets: ARD/Hessischer Rundfunk, Augsburger Allgemeine, Automobilwoche, Bayern 5 aktuell, Computerwoche, Frankfurter Allgemeine, Handelsblatt, HR Info, n-tv, Stuttgarter Zeitung, Wirtschaftswoche and ZDF.
